I rang up my local radio station asking if they would do a spot about RA in one of their programmes this week. I had to send three emails to various people. I've done it and am now waiting to see if anyone contacts me. If I hear nothing I will not give up. I thought of suggesting a while ago that they do a slot perhaps once a week about misconceived illness after I heard the morning show presenter talking about his wife who suffers from migraines, stating that people think that it is just a headache and didn't understand just how debilitating it really is. They also have a doctor once a week talking about various illness, so I could suggest that he talks about RA one week.

Anyone else done anything?

I asked all my local chemists to display the RA Awareness poster, I checked today & unfortunately a couple didn't display them, so I've put a note in their letter box asking them to please please display them.

So far I've arranged a bacon sandwich morning in work & we have a cake sale tomorrow to raise funds 😊

Hope you hear from the radio station

I love people who can make you smile even when you do not feel like smiling. x
